The Battered Women's Shelter and the Rape Crisis Center are currently seeking application for new Board Members.
Applicants must have a passion for issues relating to the mission of the organizations. Once accepted, Board Members serve a 2 year term and may remain on the Board for a total of six years. Currently the Board of Directors meets every other month, with sub-committees meeting on the "off" month. Board Members are currently being sought to fill positions with skills in the following areas: fiscal oversight, nursing, social services, clergy and educators.
