Often I am asked by someone if there is a way for a family member, friend or co-worker to get involved in our organization on a Board level. Well, we currently do not have Board openings..............however we have multiple sub committees that need supports to jump on.
Multiple events happening in the coming months and we have planning teams working on various events.............this is a SIMPLE commitment of helping plan ONE event.............
Talk with some of your family and friends; or send this out to your email contacts: see if you can find a few people who would be interested in working with a team to plan one of the following upcoming events:

- HELP PLAN the Ride for Healing (a fundraiser to benefit the Rape Crisis Center). If you like motorcycles this is the perfect way to get involved. The event will take place from Century Harley Davidson in Medina on August 14th. Approximately 5 planning meetings will take place this summer. - HELP PLAN the Akron Peace Project (a week long educational/awareness event). The Akron Peace Project week of commemoration is September 25th- October 2nd. There are multiple events all week and much help is needed! Call or Email to get involved. 330-777-4723 or DanaZ@scmcbws.org
- HELP PLAN the Medina Fundraiser (a fundraiser to benefit the Battered Women's Shelter in Medina County). The theme for this event has yet to be decided. The event will take place in October or November. Call or Email to get involved. 330-777-4723 or DanaZ@scmcbws.org
